Alissa Burger

Alissa Burger is an Assistant Professor of English and Humanities at the State University of New York (SUNY), Delhi, where she teaches composition, women’s studies, gothic literature, and a Great Writers course on the works of Stephen King. Her essay “Text Pairing, Setting, and Vampire Literature: Teaching Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Stephen King’s ‘Salem’s Lot” was recently published in the collection Out of the Coffin and Into the Classroom: Essays on Teaching the Vampire, which was edited by Lisa Navarez.
