Dan Dooghan

Dan Dooghan teaches in the English and Writing department at the University of Tampa and works on translation, philosophy, and Chinese literature. He’s  a long-time gamer, and recently started researching video games and their relationship to and extension of literature and literary theory. Although in a totally amateur fashion, he also plays the guitar and looks at the role of music in intellectual history.

Dan’s article, “A Slacker Sage: The Metaphysics of Mediocrity in the Zhuangzi,” appears in albeit 1.2: Failure.
